Dr. Adel W. Mohamed, MD presently practices urology at the Mohamed & Lippitt Urology Center in Smithfield, North Carolina, and has practiced medicine for over 45 years. His expertise lies in complex procedures of the bladder, ureter and kidneys. Dr. Mohamed is board certified and is a member of American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association and the American Urological Association.Dr. Mohamed completed his residency in 1969 at Cairo University in Egypt, along with additional residencies at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Connecticut, Farmington. Dr. Mohamed graduated with his degree in medicine from the Kasr-El-Aini University in Cairo, Egypt in 1965.
