Dr. Eric Gordon practices sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at Arkansas Specialty Orthopaedics in Little Rock, Arkansas and is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He also serves as team physician and orthopaedic surgeon for the Arkansas Travelers, Arkansas Twisters, Arkansas Baptist College, North Little Rock High School, and Catholic High School. Dr. Gordon’s specializations are care of shoulder and knee problems, fracture care, and sports-related injuries.
Before beginning his practice in Arkansas, Dr. Gordon completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute – www.scoi.com. During that time, he worked closely with Dr. Stephen Snyder one of the foremost experts on shoulder arthroscopy in the world as well as several other renowned physicians. He was involved with the care of both professional and college athletes from UCLA, the Oakland A’s, and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Dr. Gordon attended and graduated from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he earned his medical degree and then completed residency in orthopaedic surgery. He attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he received an undergraduate degree in psychology.
Dr. Gordon was born and raised in Russellville, Arkansas. Dr Gordon is blessed with a lovely wife and three young boys. |
