Dr. Jonathan Craighead has practiced medicine for 11 years in the fields of orthopaedics and sports medicine and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Craighead specializes in adult reconstruction orthopedic surgery, including minimally invasive partial knee replacement, sports medicine and general orthopedics. He is also trained in computer assisted surgery.
Dr. Craighead started his current practice at St. Marys Health Center in 2005, and has received the 2005 Arkansas Orthopedic Forum Research Award for his research title, “The effect of length of the Kessler stitch on repair strength in a flexor tendon model.” He presented his research at the American Society for Surgery of the Hand Annual Meeting held in 2004, and at the American Hand Society Annual Meeting in 2005.
Dr. Craighead received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and completed his degree in medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Dr. Craighead is a native of Jefferson City, Missouri, where he lives with his wife Margaret and their three children. |
