
Marc Stevens, MD, FACS, FICS is an award winning Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr. Stevens is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and is a Fellow in both the American College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons. Dr. Stevens was awarded the American Medical Association Physican Recognition Award, and was recognized as one of America’s Top Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Stevens was the 2005 Carl L. Nelson Leadership Award recipient, and was named as one of the World’s Leading Physicans by the International Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. As a graduate of Colorado State University and Creighton University, Dr. Stevens graduated in the top 5% of his class and was named to several honor societies. In 1992-93, Dr. Stevens was named an Academic All American as a collegiate athlete in tennis and basketball.
Dr. Stevens completed a 5-year Orthopaedic Surgery Residency and went on to serve as a Medical Director, Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, and maintains a private practice in North Carolina where he specializes in joint reconstruction. sports medicine, minimally invasive surgery and trauma. He has advanced training in wound care and hyperbaric medicine, and is an expert in treating disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
Dr. Stevens has spent the last 6 years working to improve the lives of his patients by working in collaboration with top physicians around the country on the Optimal Health Formulas. Dr. Stevens currently serves as Chairman of the DRS Health Medical Advisory Board.
Dr. Stevens has been married for over 15 years to his lovely wife Kim, and they have been blessed with 6 children. |
